  • By renting equipment from GP Experience Inc. (referred to hereafter as ‘the lessor’), you (referred to hereafter as ‘the renter’) accept to be bound to the following Terms and Conditions, whether you book by yourself on our website, on Facebook, or through one of our staff members.
  • By renting equipment from GP Experience Inc, the renter accepts that the equipment is in good, functional condition at the time received.
  • The renter agrees to promptly return the equipment at the end of the rental period in the same condition as received.
  • All equipment is the property of GP Experience Inc. and requires a pre-authorized credit card per camera rented (Visa, Mastercard and American Express accepted).
  • A full day rental is charged, even for a partial day use. There are absolutely no refunds for early returns. The renter agrees to pay the regular rental rate for each day that the equipment is in his possession and until it is returned to the lessor.
  • Rental Duration : 1 day is one calendar day, from 7am to 8pm MST (Mountain Standard Time)
  • Any damage or loss beyond normal wear and tear is the responsibility of the renter and replacement value of the camera (defined by the lessor) will be taken from the pre-authorization.
  • Mechanical failure from normal use is not considered damage.
  • The lessor assumes no responsibility for damage to film materials or other liability of any kind resulting from the use or malfunction of the equipment. The renter agrees that the limit of the lessor’s liability is limited to a refund of the actual RENTAL Charge ONLY.
  • If the camera lens is scratched on the GoPro camera unit then replacement value for the unit (defined by the lessor) will be taken from the security deposit.
  • If any of the included equipment is lost or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, replacement value will be taken from the deposit based on SportChek, Best Buy or any GoPro reseller price.
  • GP Experience Inc. is the sole owner of the information on the “Equipment Rental Agreement” form. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to any other party.
  • If, for any reason, the renter may not be able to return the rented equipment by the arranged date/time, we ask the renter to contact us as soon as possible.
  • The renter will also be responsible to pay the lessor for any charges incurred by the lessor to recover the equipment not promptly returned when requested.
  • GP Experience Inc. will pre-authorize the renter’s credit card as follow: CAD$350 per GoPro Session, CAD$350 per GoPro Hero 4 Silver, CAD$350 per GoPro Hero 4 Black, CAD$350 per GoPro Hero 6 Black, CAD$350 per GoPro Karma Grip, CAD$250 per Studio Light and CAD$250 per Zoom H4N. GP Experience Inc. requires a valid credit card and a photo ID to rent. We do not accept cash, debit cards (except if can be preauthorized) or prepaid credit cards.
  • In case of a complete loss of a GoPro camera or any major equipment item (e.g. the Karma Grip), the pre-authorization may not be enough to replace the item fully. In such situation, GP Experience reserves the right to charge the customer the replacement cost at full retail value of such item.
  • Once all the equipment is returned and is in good working order, the security deposit will be released to the renter minus any charges indicated above. The time to release the hold from a credit card varies depending on the financial institution used. GP Experience Inc. will endeavor to release any pre-authorization as quickly as possible.
  • By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the renter gives his consent to charge rental fees, loss, repair fees or replacement due to failure to return equipment to his credit card.
  • The renter must be 18 years old or older to rent with GP Experience Inc.
  • All receipts will be provided by email.
  • The content (the renter’s videos and photos shot with the rented equipment) needs to be deleted from the SD card before returning it to GP Experience Inc. All information on the SD cards will be deleted by GP Experience Inc. upon its return, no exceptions. This is to protect ourselves from any potential liabilities and also for your privacy.

  • We always strive to be flexible in terms of pickup/dropoff times to ensure you get the best service possible
  • We allow a delay of 15 minutes maximum for any pickup/dropoff meetings. After 15 minutes over the agreed-upon time of meeting, we will charge a flat late fee of $15 on your booking. This policy affects the meeting to pickup your booking and the meeting to drop it off. This helps us ensure we can commit to everyone’s needs and be on time for all our customers. Any delays usually affect the next appointment.
  • The equipment must be returned at the end of the rental day or rental period. Should you need to return it the day after for any reasons, we will charge one extra rental day on your booking for all items included within. Some items within your equipment may be included in a package rented for the day after your booking and we need to ensure it’s available for the next person who has booked it in advance.

  • If you wish to cancel your booking for any reason, we require a minimum of 2 days before the start date of your booking.
  • If you provide us with a minimum of 2 days notice, we will refund the full rental amount to you.
  • For a late cancellation (less than 2 days before the start date of your rental), we will charge the full rental amount if your rental is less than 2 days long or 2 days worth of rental of the full equipment if your rental is longer than 2 days, whichever applies.
  • For example, if your rental start date is Saturday, you need to ensure you cancel by Wednesday end of day at the latest to avoid any cancellation fee.
  • This cancellation policy helps us serve you better to ensure the rental equipment is available when you expect it according to the availability showing on the calendar.

  • By purchasing a video editing package from GP Experience Inc., you (referred to hereafter as ‘the customer’) accept to be bound to the following Policy.
  • When the customer purchases a video editing package with GP Experience Inc., the customer agrees to be fully responsible for the backup of their video/photo content before handing it to GP Experience Inc. for editing purposes.
  • GP Experience Inc. cannot be held responsible nor liable for any technical issues that may arise from downloading the customer’s video/photo content onto our network including potential loss.
  • GP Experience Inc. reserves the right to refuse providing video editing services should the content be deemed inappropriate or offensive in nature (e.g. pornography, violence, racism, defamation, terrorism, religious extremism, etc…)
  • Should the content be deemed inappropriate or offensive in nature by the directors of GP Experience Inc., the customer will be notified by email and the content will be deleted from our network. The money paid towards the video editing service would, in such specific case, be reimbursed minus administrative costs at GP Experience Inc’s discretion.
  • The duration of the videos described within each package represent the maximum that will be delivered. However, GP Experience Inc. reserves the right to deliver a video slightly shorter than such maximum should the content not provide enough quality material to reach the maximum duration.
  • The video editing packages offer specific durations for the raw video footage and the final edited video. Should the customer need to extend such packages, GP Experience Inc. offers extra raw video increments for purchase.
  • Extra raw video increments are designed to be 30 minutes long. Should the customer’s extra footage duration be 45 minutes as an example, GP Experience Inc. will charge 2 increments of 30 minutes.
  • GP Experience Inc. will create a professional video for the customer. Please note that the quality of the final video can only be as good as the quality of the customer’s video footage. Even with the best video editing tools and experienced talented videographers, GP Experience Inc. cannot create a state-of-the-art video out of poor quality video footage. The word “quality”, in this situation, can refer to the resolution and the creative aspect of it.
